Let's Pause
🧒 KYH is built for adults (18+)
Children and teenagers are still growing, so their health picture is completely different — and needs a different kind of guidance.
- Different reference ranges: Body measurements, blood values and hormones change through growth and puberty
- Different screening: The tests and checks an adult needs are not the ones a growing body needs
- Growth-based assessment: Height, weight and development are tracked on growth charts, not adult cut-offs
- Different nutrition and activity needs: Targets built for adults can be wrong, or harmful, for a growing body
A paediatrician or family doctor is the right guide
They know the growth history and can plan checks and nutrition for this stage. A parent or guardian can come along to the visit. Once you are 18, you are welcome to come back.
🤰 You're Expecting
Pregnancy transforms your entire health picture. Your labs, safety protocols, and screening needs are completely different—and specialized.
- Different reference ranges: Hematocrit, glucose, hormones all shift during pregnancy
- Contraindicated tests: Certain imaging and screenings must wait
- Trimester-specific care: Each stage has its own protocol
- Specialized screening: Gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, fetal development
Your prenatal team is the right guide
Your OB/GYN has the expertise to curate the perfect testing plan for your specific pregnancy. They know your individual risk factors and can time everything perfectly for you and your baby.
